Oh my gosh!! I am just so excited to share this wedding with you all!! Maddie and Richard are amazing people and I couldn’t feel luckier than they asked me to shoot their wedding. They were actually a referral from another photographer friend of mine (Greta, you rock!) who was already booked on their date. But they knew they wanted someone fun and a touch unique. That’s where I came in! I met with Maddie at my Atlanta office space and we instantly clicked. We’re both super tall, super fun and love to laugh. I could instantly feel her love of life and her love of Richard (who I didn’t meet until our next meeting). Fast forwarding to their pre-wedding meeting with me to go over their details…they brought a 6 pack of beer to our meeting so we could enjoy a drink over details. Like, seriously, that’s how cool these two are. We chatted for quite a long time just hanging out (and drinking beer) and then we were all set for their wedding.
The day was perfect! Old Fourth Ward Park was the perfect setting for their personalities. And really, it’s just a very gorgeous and versatile park. I don’t even know what we did in Atlanta before it was built! But it was the first nice weekend after many of rainy ones and so the temperature was perfect as well. The fall colors had just started to show but I think they added the perfect color scheme to their day. Everything was flawless and I couldn’t have had a better time. I loved everything about your day, Maddie & Richard!! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your lives!!
